Australasia’s leading Rocket League tournament organiser, RL Oceania, announced on Monday 6 September that JBL Quantum has signed on as an official sponsor. This is a welcome announcement in light of the company's recent reveal of ‘The Gauntlet’ returning for its fourth season.

JBL is a world-renowned company that manufactures world-class audio equipment including headphones and speakers. Within the esports space, JBL is known for being a significant partner of American based esports organisation, 100 Thieves.

Ben “Dover” O’Conner, Managing Director of RL Oceania, said in a statement that “it’s exciting to have JBL working with us as we look to build a greater future to follow our previous success. JBL provides high quality gear and we know our community can count on them to stay competitive on the pitch with accurate and supreme audio.”

“To have JBL as our newest sponsor says a lot about the continued growth of RL Oceania and the Oceanic Rocket League community. We look forward to our future achievements alongside JBL,” finished Ben.

In their statement released earlier this week, RL Oceania went on to state that the details of the JBL partnership includes regular appearances on RL Oceania broadcasts and social media content, as well as appearances on web-based content such as their power rankings.

They then went on to state that JBL will be working closely with the company to provide further opportunities to the community by supporting future events, including the recently announced Gauntlet, as well as giving their followers chances to win JBL gear.

The Gauntlet: Season 4 is set to kick off tonight from 6:30pm AEST and will run for four weeks of its forecasted regular season before entering a playoffs bracket. You can keep up with the event via RL Oceania’s social channels and or primarily via their livestream on Twitch.
