CURRENT TEAM RANKINGS

LAST UPDATED: 09 / 12 / 2019

1

Wildcard Gaming

“Wildcard are at the height of their power in Rainbow Six. They have finally broken through an APAC Pro League Finals for the first time and pushed eventual Pro League Champions, NaVi, to a grueling three map series, only to lose by a single round in overtime. Wildcard stormed the gates in their first international tournament, and with the financials and support of an organisation behind them - they set their sights on the Six Invitational.”

- James “Devmarta” Stewart

Recent Results:

  • 1:2 vs NaVi (PL Finals)
  • 2:1 vs Xavier (PL APAC)
  • 2:0 vs Cyclops (PL APAC)

Active Roster:Ethan, Derpeh, NeophyteR, Diesel and EmoRin

2

FNATIC

“After the most heartbreaking period of failure in FNATIC’s history - with early exits from the Raleigh Major and APAC Pro League Season X Finals - FNATIC are finally redeeming themselves. Rejuvenated with the additions of MentalistC (formerly Aerowolf, 3rd/4th Season X Finals) and Tex (formerly SiNister, 6th ANZ Pro League Season X) the kings of APAC Siege asserted their dominance over ANZ with a flawless run through the Six Invitational ANZ Qualifier. With fresh faces and a renewed hunger for success, FNATIC turn their eyes to the Six Invitational APAC Qualifier in January, where they hope to earn a spot for the fourth time at a Six Invitational.”

- James “Devmarta” Stewart

Recent Results:

  • 2:0 vs Fury (SI Qual)
  • 2:0 vs Vanquish (SI Qual)
  • 2:0 vs HomeLess (SI Qual)

Active Roster:Magnet, Tex, MentalistC, Lusty and Virtue

3

Oddity Esports

“After a less than ideal end to Season 10 of Pro League due to falling short of APAC Finals by two points and a heartbreaking final series versus Fury, Oddity have been close yet far from success. Recent departure of coach Raven and the departures of Vinnie and Todd has lead to young guns Dgtl and Giovanni being acquired; both previously from Extricity, who were one of the strongest U18 teams before they disbanded. Oddity competed over the weekend in the SI Qualifier and managed to overcome HomeLess in a three map series. But sadly due to personal circumstances, they had to forfeit all other matches. I’m excited to see if these changes can finally grant Oddity a top two spot.”

- Alex “Skye” McCallum

Recent Results:

  • 2:1 vs HomeLess (SI Qual)
  • 2:0 vs Mindfreak (SI Qual)

Active Roster:Vast, Legion, Redolent, Dgtl and Giovanni

4

HomeLess

“HomeLess is one of the most exciting up and coming teams within the ANZ region. After qualifying for the S11 Pro League, this roster has not slowed down; claiming first place in the Six Invitational ANZ Open Qualifier and second place in the Closed Qualifier. They have proved they are a force to be reckoned with, and to think they did this with their sub Juicy should be a warning to their competitors. Recent acquisitions of Pikniq and Dewolf, coach and analyst respectively, has strengthened the team's strategic ability. I can’t wait to see them compete next season.”

- Alex “Skye” McCallum

Recent Results:

  • 2:0 vs Mindfreak (SI Qual)
  • 1:2 vs Oddity (SI Qual)
  • 2:0 vs Fury (SI Qual)

Active Roster: Stigs, Hayward, Dino, Stryder and Arlo

5

Fury

“Going into the Invitational Qualifiers, not a lot of people expected to see Fury get pretty far. Although the changes in a few approaches to their site holds and general coordination seemed to have done the job, as the team had managed to stay afloat for a while, albeit mostly in the lower bracket until they fell to HomeLess.”

- Konstantin “Cthulhu” Nurdizhanyan

Recent Results:

  • 2:1 vs SiNister (SI Qual)
  • 2:0 vs Mindfreak (SI Qual)

Active Roster:Warden, Shade, Muesli, Rock and Flvcko

6

Mindfreak

“With Mindfreak finishing the last season of Pro League in fourth place, a lot of people expected to see Mindfreak push into the semifinals of the Six Invitational Qualifier. Unfortunately, that was not the case, as Mindfreak ended up being first rounded into the lower bracket and then ultimately lost to Fury to be eliminated.”

- Konstantin “Cthulhu” Nurdizhanyan

Recent Results:

  • 4th Pro League Season 10

Active Roster: JackDaddy, Cutie, Shak, ItBeStyle and TBD

7

Team Sinister

“With the fact that SiNister had to make last moment roster moves and didn’t get as much time with the newer players, the team ended up cutting their run in the Six Invitiational Qualifiers very short; falling to Fury in the upper bracket, and then losing in the first round of the lower bracket to Vanquish. It will be interesting to see how they shape up come Season 11 of the Pro League.”

- Konstantin “Cthulhu” Nurdizhanyan

Recent Results:

  • 1:2 vs Fury (SI Qual)
  • 6th Pro League Season 10

Active Roster:  Loona, Fishoguy, Nikoh, Vinnie and Milostka

8

Rhythm

“A series of solid performances during the Challenger League season sees this squad promoted to Pro League. I’m excited to see what this squad can do when the season commences, and see if they can push for a top spot in the power rankings.”

- Samuel “Monkeyfist” Royals

Recent Results:

  • 1:1 vs HomeLess (CL)
  • 2:0 vs RMA (CL)
  • 1:1 vs CryptiK (CL)

Active Roster: Wayneman, Unitdoggy, Thumbnail, Lebb& Werdyy

9

Team CryptiK

“A fairly disappointing performance in the Challenger League for CriptiK saw them just miss out on making Pro League. They were still in with a shot to make it until the final day, as long as results were able to go in their favour; but that wasn’t the case. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for them.”

- Samuel “Monkeyfist” Royals

Recent Results:

  • 1:1 vs Rhythm (CL)

Active Roster: Striking, Sirrom, Jamx, Hotshot& Sushi

10

Read My Aggression

“A poor start to Challenger League saw the Read My Aggression squad struggling to be in with a shot to make it to the top. In the final weeks they started to put results up on the board, but ultimately it was a little too late for the team.”

- Samuel “Monkeyfist” Royals

Recent Results:

  • 0:2 vs Oddity (SI Qual)
  • 1:1 vs HomeLess (CL)

Coming Soon

1

Grayhound Gaming

“Grayhound Gaming have once again cemented themselves as the number one domestic team with 2-0 victories over all three of the other top four teams - half of which being single digit results for their opponents - the GH boys are looking as dominant as ever - this is possibly the biggest domestic skill gap we've ever seen between the top team and those below them. With their victory at EPL they've booked a spot at the Odense finals, so all eyes will be on them once more as they head international to test themselves against the best.”

- Tim "brainstorm" Dunne

Key Achievements:

  • 2-0 vs ORDER (EPL S10 GF)
  • 2-0 vs Chiefs (EPL S10)
  • 2-0 vs Avant (EPL S10)
  • 2-1 vs Alpha Red (OMEN Finals)

Active Roster: dexter, sico, INS, malta and DickStacy

2

ORDER

“Order have recently defeated the majority of other teams in the region multiple times, with the exception of the Grayhounds. They handed out solid defeats to Chiefs and Avant in Pro League and beat Chiefs 3-2 in the ESEA MDL Grand Final (effectively 3-1 due to map advantage for Chiefs). Looking back further to the eXTREMESLAND qualifiers, Order came in second to GH after defeating Chiefs and Avant again and even managed a close series against the Grayhounds, though the Hounds did have a stand-in. Overall, Order are in a comfortable second place due to consistent defeats over other teams in the top of the rankings, but they - like the majority of others - have so far been unable to consistently challenge Grayhounds domestically.”

- Tim "brainstorm" Dunne

Key Achievements:

  • 2-0 vs Chiefs (EPL S10)
  • 2-0 vs Avant (EPL S10)
  • 3-2 vs Chiefs (MDL S32 GF)
  • 2-0 vs Genuine (MDL S32)

Active Roster: emagine, aliStair, hatz, USTILO and Valiance

3

The Chiefs

“After the great effort the Chiefs showcased at the OMEN Challenger Series, ORDER have bounced back in the feud for the second position, which should lead for Chiefs to be hungrier than ever, as they know what they are capable of. I will be keeping my eyes peeled in this next sprint to see how the Chiefs strive for that second position.”

- Dion “Komodo” Pirotta

Key Achievements:

  • 2-1 vs Avant (EPL S10)
  • 2-0 vs Genuine (MDL S32)
  • 2-0 vs ORDER (MDL S32)
  • 2-0 vs PC419 (MDL S32)

Active Roster: tucks, zewsyy, ofnu, Texta and BL1TZ

4

Avant Gaming

“Avant have been going up against 'The Top 3' time and time again, and unfortunately, haven't been able to secure a victory thus yet, locking them in at Number 4. Hopefully the current situation that surrounds Avant passes quickly, so the team can get back into the swing of things and bring forward some heated matches.”

- Dion “Komodo” Pirotta

Key Achievements:

  • 1-2 vs Chiefs (Zowie Qualifier)
  • 2-0 vs Ground Zero (EPL S10)
  • 2-0 vs Catman (EPL S10)
  • 1-2 vs ORDER (ESL AUNZ)

Active Roster: J1rah, hazr, apoc, soju and strerl1ng

5

Genuine Gaming

“Genuine is that team who continue to show intense moments of beauty, but then trip and fall shortly after. Unfortunately, arguably the star player and IGL Tom 'apocdud' Henry has been struggling with illness and has been unable to attend recent events alongside the roster, such as the Omen Challenge in NZ and more recently Zowie eXTREMESLAND Asia Global Finals in Shanghai, where coach Pete 'oxey' Lo filled in. Oxey actually had a very strong showing in Shanghai, picking up the AWP & IGL role. The full team however was unable to show their best form and were quickly dispatched of by both TyLoo and Absolute, two very tough opening matches with TyLoo going on to win the event, and Absolute placing 4th. Both Chris 'Jinxx' Mosely and Daryl 'Mayker' May put up great performances in both matches, with Jinxx unleashing 26 kills against TyLoo, and a 1.23 rating against Absolute for Mayker. I believe once apocdud is back to good health, this team definitely has the capacity to challenge Chiefs and Order for 3rd/4th place. Despite the fact that there is a tonne of work to be done here, I believe Genuine have the mental strength to overcome this tough time and develop even further.”

- Mitch “Conky” Concanen

Key Achievements:

  • 2-0 vs Spinach Farmers (Geforce Cup)
  • 2-0 vs SYF (MDL S32)
  • 16-10 vs PC419 (MDL S32)
  • 16-11 vs ORDER (MDL S32)

Active Roster: Jinxx, stat, apocdud, Skullhunter& Mayker

6

Ground Zero

“Ground Zero gaming have been that growth story which i've been watching from the sidelines for quite some time now. Initially coming into the market in around the div2/3 space, Ground Zero have made slow but gradual improvements to their roster over these last 12 months and now appear to be settled after trading out Tyson 'pan1K' Missak and Pete 'zemp' Renouf for Andy 'noobster' Zhang & Luke 'Llamas' Merchant. With Cal 'BURNRUOK' Henderson at the helm, another late addition to the Zowie eXTREMESLAND Asia Global Finals in Shanghai, Ground Zero did have a tough start up against B.O.O.T, going down 16-9 but able to bring a win through taking out Enzo 2-0. Unfortunately in the next match they were taken out 2-0 by the Turkish side of Demise, with experienced players such as ngiN and paz, but did manage to take them to overtime on Map 2. I managed to spend a lot of time with these boys especially whilst in Shanghai, and they have great personal chemistry inside and out of the server, and I think with some practice they will be able to deliver some great results.”

- Mitch “Conky” Concanen

Key Achievements:

  • 2-0 vs Bizarra (Geforce Cup)
  • 2-0 vs ENZO (eXTREMELAND Asia)
  • 16-1 vs Bizarre (MDL S32)

Active Roster: bURNRUOk, zeph, void, Llamas & Noobster

7

PC419

“Consistent and steady improvement, they had a surprising top 4 finish in ESEA MDL for Season 32 off the back of a few forfeits, but they've continued to show their ability to compete with some of the region's higher ranked teams.”

- Matthew “mattyB” Bowerman

Key Achievements:

  • 2-0 vs SYF (MDL S32)
  • 2-1 vs Paradox (LPL)
  • 2-1 vs SYF (LPL)

Active Roster:Wolfy, Doom, Muzoona, BeeTee and DuckyPanic

8

Airborne E.C.

“Still grinding out the final rounds of the ESEA Open finals, they find themselves 1 Bo3 from the grand final, and first shot at promotion for season 33 of MDL. A couple of missteps in the NVIDIA GeForce cup, does show that there's still plenty of room for this roster to grow”

- Matthew “mattyB” Bowerman

Key Achievements:

  • 3-1 vs Genuine (LPL GF)
  • 2-1 vs Paradox (LPL)
  • 2-1 vs SYF (LPL)

Active Roster: pz, smooth_crim, JD, laes and swede

9

SYF Gaming

“Decent placing in ESEA this season, and a competitive showing in their elimination match. They are certainly no slouches, but there's still plenty aways to go before they're considered a serious threat.”

- Matthew “mattyB” Bowerman

Key Achievements:

  • 19-16 vs Genuine (MDL S32)
  • 16-10 vs Jade (MDL S32)
  • 16-4 vs Bizarre (MDL S32)

Active Roster: urbz, ekul, bedonka, ino and Teal

10

MC Esports

“A sporadic end to their ESEA run, with a continuously shuffling roster means this new lineup hasn't had time to impress just yet. Having booked their spots into a top 4 placing on the GeForce cup, they have a real opportunity to show us what they can really do in the back end of the Oceanic season.”

- Matthew “mattyB” Bowerman

  • 2-0 vs PC419 (Geforce Cup)
  • 16-12 vs ZOWE (MDL)
  • 19-16 vs Jade (MDL)
