Paradox Gaming today announce their official signing of the former SYF Gaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster - three months after the departure of their previous roster which placed third in the LPL Season 3 Pro League and second at the AEF Season 2 LAN

Announced Roster:

  • Luke “ekul” Blakey
  • Andrew “ino” Foster
  • Daniel “urbz” Urbani
  • Luke “1ukey” McMillan
  • Harry “bedonka” Hayes

As of recent, this roster triumphed in the LPL Season 2 Pro League over the former Genuine Gaming roster (now known as ‘team’), and placed fourth in the WESG 2019 APAC Qualifier; falling short to the former Genuine Gaming roster this time around.

Daniel “urbz” Urbani is one of the more experienced players on this roster, having represented strong rinditions of rosters from Corvidae, Trident Esports and Avant Gaming - whilst also representing the likes of The Chiefs Esports Club and Vox Eminor for short periods of time back in 2015 and 2016.

Chris Hillman, Chief Financial Officer of Paradox Gaming, gave a statement to us which reads “we’re very pleased to have signed this roster. We believe that they have the potential to consistently be top five in Oceania and potentially be an overseas contender moving forward.”

Luke “1ukey” McMillan, Player for Paradox Gaming’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster went on to say “on behalf of myself and the team, we are stoked to be joining Paradox Gaming. We’ll be working very hard to cement our position as one of the best teams in the region this year. We look forward to a happy, healthy and loving relationship.”

The team is set to debut for Paradox Gaming this coming Wednesday in the IEM Katowice Closed Qualifier - they will also be competing in ESEA MDL Season 33 around the same time, which will be dependent on when they schedule their first match (although the season is set to kick off on Tuesday).
