Nations Ventures announces investment into HYPR CARRY

Nations Ventures, the investment company of We Are Nations, has today announced their investment in HYPR CARRY – an Australian based influencer merchandise and media company, which is largely owned by veterans of the local esports space.

Founded in 2016, We Are Nations is the largest esportswear production company in the world. Popular names working alongside We Are Nations consist of the likes of G2 Esports, Complexity Gaming, MIBR, and Ninjas In Pyjamas. (more info)

In just their first year, HYPR has managed to secure deals with some of the largest content creators in the world – including Fresh, Joshdub, Mully and EddieVR.

Outside of content creators, HYPR has collaborated with Australian-based sporting talent like Brisbane Lions player, Mitch Robinson, and professional MMA fighter, Chelsea Hackett. HYPR are also responsible for the production of instant sell-out clothing drops with 257 Collective – a clothing line founded by professional NRL player, Kalyn Ponga. (more info)


In a press release posted by Nations Ventures, the company announced that the deal’s terms include a significant cash investment into the Australian company and the establishment of a wholly-owned US subsidiary, HYPR CARRY USA, LLC – which will be a new affiliate of We Are Nations. 


Patrick Mahoney, a partner in Nations Ventures and the CEO of We Are Nations said in a statement “working with HYPR CARRY is probably the best example so far of the Nations Ventures investment strategy.” 


“HYPR CARRY has built a successful business with great clients and an incredible management team. They were ready to scale, and after a few months of conversations, it became clear that HYPR CARRY and the Nations family created a great partnership,” finished Mahoney.

Aiden Hiko, Co-Founder of HYPR CARRY, went on to state “it has been an incredible launch year for the team and we were looking closely at how to continue the momentum into 2021.
