The OPL announces EPOS as their Official Audio Partner for 2020

The Oceanic Pro League (OPL) has expanded its partnership group for the year, adding global audio giant EPOS (prev. Sennheiser) as the Official Audio Partner to the league. EPOS has outlined that they aim to support the team where audio quality and clarity is more important to teams than ever while they tackle the new reality under COVID-19 and playing remotely.


Maja Frølunde Sand-Grimnitz, Head of Global Marketing, Gaming for EPOS said about the partnership, “EPOS strive to unleash human potential and give gaming another dimension through powerful audio solutions and we are very excited to be working with Riot Games.”

As traditional sports leagues around the world are halted in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, esports globally has experienced unprecedented growth as sports fans around the world seek entertainment. Despite the challenging circumstances, the OPL had overwhelming success in Split 1 of the OPL, with unique global viewers topping 100,000 per match day. 


EPOS and the league intend to work closely during their partnership to engage with those fans on a regular basis, and give viewers at home the opportunity to interact with the OPL in new ways.


EPOS joins a portfolio of new partners for the league, after Neosurf joined as the Presenting Partner of the OPL Finals alongside the continued support of McDonalds as an Official Partner of the league.


Split 2 of the OPL commences at 4 PM AEST on Friday June 5 at watch.lolesports.com, where eight teams will compete for the local title.
