Only ten days on from their recent announcement of signing L’Oreal Men Expert as a partner for the club, The Chiefs Esports Club have today announced that one of Australia’s leading telecommunications companies, Optus, have signed on as a major partner for a period of twelve months.
In a release posted across Optus’ social media channels, they’ve stated that the partnership will consist of The Chiefs conducting their training and streaming via an Optus nbnTM connection, whilst also supporting Optus with new gaming related products and services in the future. It’s definitely not a first time for Optus entering the esports industry, as they are also currently partnered with two other local organisations, Legacy Esports and ORDER.
Mel Hopkins, Head of Marketing at Optus, expressed her excitement for this new partnership and the brands plans for expansion in the gaming industry.

Nick Bobir, CEO of The Chiefs Esports Club, spoke on the relation between gamers and a strong network connections, whilst also speaking about the impact this partnership has for those involved with The Chiefs.
