Rainbow Six Siege Power Rankings, February 14th

Following the mid-season break from the Rainbow Six: Siege ANZ Pro League, we are bringing back our power rankings to help solidify who we believe are the top teams in this region right now.

With that being said, please welcome back our Rainbow Six: Siege panelists;

1.) FNATIC (+1)

“It appears that a fresh roster was exactly the revitalisation that the fallen kings of APAC needed to aspire to their former glory. The addition of MentalistC and Tex replacing RizRaz and Speca after FNATIC's Season X disaster was met with much criticism, but thus far the boys in orange have proven the naysayers wrong. A minor hiccup 6-6 tie to Kanga on playday one has been corrected with seven consecutive FNATIC victories in the ANZ Pro League, earning their place atop the local standings."

Recent Results:

  • 0:2 vs Empire (SI 2020)
  • 2:1 vs FaZe (SI 2020)
  • 2:0 vs Empire (SI 2020)
  • 7-1 vs Kanga (PL)

Active Roster: Magnet, Tex, MentalistC, Lusty and Virtue

2.) Wildcard Gaming (-1)

“2019 was a year of uncertainty and excitement for the Wildcard roster, as they finally broke through the barriers of APAC to qualify for two global finals events and sought out an organisation to support them to compete full time. But this golden age could not last forever, and Wildcard have befallen their worst Pro League performance ever seen, sitting in 4th place on the ANZ standings and having lost or tied matches to all of the bottom four teams. Many onlookers question Wildcard's potential for not only their upcoming Six Invitational debut but also their prospects of qualifying for Season XI APAC Finals, which will require an exceptional performance in split two, and the hope that teams such as FNATIC, Onyxian & TBD do not continue their strong Pro League performances for the last leg. One thing is for certain, Wildcard stands on thin ice and will have to remedy their issues to continue their streak of success into 2020.”

Recent Results:

  • 0:2 vs Team Reciprocity (SI 2020)
  • 6-6 vs Pittsburgh Knights (PL)
  • 7-2 vs Pittsburgh Knights (PL)
  • 7-1 vs Kanga (PL)

Active Roster: Ethan, Derpeh, NeophyteR, Diesel and EmoRin

 3.) Onyxian 2.0 (prev Oddity)

“Onyxian have had an incredible start to Pro League Season 11. The two new young guns Dgtl and Giovanni have had a seamless transition into the team seeing only one game dropped so far in Pro League (and this was played with their coach). It will be exciting to see how Onyxian fare against the likes of Fnatic and Wildcard in the 2nd half of Pro League.”

- Alex “Skye” McCallum

Recent Results:

  • 7-5 vs SiNister (PL)
  • 7-4 vs SiNister (PL)
  • 7-3 vs Kanga (PL)
  • 7-1 vs Kanga (PL)

Active Roster: Vast, GodLegion, Giovanni, Redd and Dgtl

4.) TBD (prev Mindfreak)

“To be honest, coming into Season 11 there were doubts about how TBD would perform. That being said, they are currently 3rd in the standings winning at least one map against every opponent they have faced thus far.

Although impressive, it will be interesting to see how they play against Fnatic, Wildcard and Onyxian in the 2nd half of Pro League.”

- Alex “Skye” McCallum

Recent Results:

  • 7-2 vs FURY (PL)
  • 3-7 vs FURY (PL)
  • 1-7 vs Pittsburgh Knights (PL)
  • 7-2 vs Pittsburgh Knights (PL)

Active Roster: Cutieee, JKR, ItBeStyle, Mangoz and Naate

5.) FURY (-)

“Fury has had a pretty good beginning for the 1st season that saw them get a single map win off TBD, that were known as Mindfreak before, and a win plus a draw against Wildcard, who are one of the two ANZ representatives that are going to Six Invitational 2020 in Montreal. After all that, Fury so far were not able to find a win against other higher end teams, which does result in their 5th position in our Power Rankings.”

- Konstantin “Cthulhu” Nurdizhanyan

Recent Results:

  • 2-7 vs TBD (PL)
  • 7-3 vs TBD (PL)
  • 7-5 vs Wildcard (PL)
  • 6-6 vs Wildcard (PL)

Active Roster: Shade, Rock, Warden, Golden and Muesli

6.) Pittsburgh Knights (-2)

“Pittsburgh Knights had a bit of a rough start considering that the beginning of the season saw them being given all the top end teams that the Knights were not as prepared to play as they probably would've. Nonetheless a draw with Wildcard, win against TDB and Onyxian 2.0 is certainly a good indication that the roster has very good ground to grow on, and I am sure that the fresh PL roster will go places in the future, but for now they land on our 6th place after a close contest with FURY.”

- Konstantin “Cthulhu” Nurdizhanyan

Recent Results:

  • 6-6 vs Wildcard (PL)
  • 2-7 vs Wildcard (PL)
  • 3-7 vs FNATIC (PL)
  • 3-7 vs FNATIC (PL)

Active Roster: Hayward, Stryder, Dino, Stigs and Arlo

7.) Kanga Esports (new)

“Being one of the teams promoted from CL, Kanga have been improving week in and out. They have impressed many by taking points off both Wildcard and Fnatic with a win and a draw, respectively. Looking forward to what else they can do in the games to come.”

- Samuel “Monkeyfist” Royals

  • 1-7 vs Wildcard (PL
  • 7-5 vs Wildcard (PL)

Active Roster: UnitDoggy, Lebb, Thumbnail, Worthy and Boatss

8.) Team SiNister (-1)

“The SiNister roster had to make a change to their line up quickly before the season started. They have had some decent performances but have had trouble closing out rounds where they have the advantage and therefore have been struggling to put points up on the board.”

- Samuel “Monkeyfist” Royals

Recent Results:

  • 5-7 vs Onyxian 2.0 (PL)
  • 4-7 vs Onyxian 2.0 (PL)
  • 3-7 vs FNATIC (PL)
  • 3-7 vs FNATIC (PL

Active Roster: Niko, Milo, Loona, Fishoguy and Vinnie
