NVIDIA has officially announced today that Australasia has been invited to take part in the NVIDIA GeForce Pacific Cup, with qualifiers starting on the 5th of November. With that being said, local esport consultancy company, BIG Esports, will be representing NVIDIA by taking on project management, marketing and administration.
It has also been made aware to us by BIG Esports that the Sydney based esports organisation, MC Esports, will be assisting with the broadcasting of games, working with the tournament operations and also lending a hand with player registration.
In the mission statement for the NVIDIA GeForce Pacific Cup, it states “join the GeForce Cup, the pinnacle of NVIDIA esports competitions, with maximum FPS, unique strategies, immersive POVs, and custom challengers.”
“Thousands of gamers from ten nations will be battling for supremacy, where the best players will compete for a $20,000 prize pool. Gather your team together for a blazing-fast competition to determine the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive champions,” it finished.
Sponsors for this event include Colourful as the title sponsor, alongside AOC Gaming, Kingston Technology, NZXT and Thermaltake as the executive sponsors.
