It seems that the female Australasian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community will be treated to an overseas opportunity to finish off the year. Lenovo has recently announced an event called Legion of Valkyries 2019, which will be held in Thailand on the 13th of December this year.
Legion of Valkyries will play host to a $2,000 USD online tournament, with the champion going through to Thailand to compete for a $10,000 USD prize pool. It has been made clear that flights and accommodations is also paid for by Lenovo.
Tournament details state that the online qualifying stage will be set up as a single elimination bracket, with all matches being best of one up until the grand final, which will be a best of three. With that being said, if three teams only turn up during the qualifying stage; it will be set to a round robin format.
